The terms for booking and playing at Cazinnie Room. Mostly common sense — arrive on time, don't break the props, don't be the person who ruins it for everyone else.

The rules in plain English
Book a slot, arrive 15 minutes early, play nice with the props and each other. Sessions are private, bookings can be moved once for free, and refunds follow our refund policy.

Bookings
A booking is confirmed when we send the confirmation email. Standard bookings don't need prepayment — you pay on arrival. Group and corporate bookings need a 50% deposit.
Arrival and timing
Doors open 15 minutes before your slot for briefing. Arrive late and we hold the room for 15 minutes — after that your game time shortens so the next team isn't affected.
Inside the room
Puzzles are designed to be solved, not forced. If something seems like it needs strength, it doesn't — ask for a hint instead. Break a prop through force and we'll charge the repair at cost; it's happened twice in four years, so it's not exactly a crime wave.
No phones or cameras inside the rooms. There are lockers at reception. The game master's word is final on safety — argue about puzzle logic later, happily.
Conduct
We refuse entry to visibly intoxicated players and end sessions for abusive behaviour — towards staff, the performer, or each other. No refund in those cases. Everything else is flexible.
Changing or cancelling
Life happens — one free reschedule per booking, up to 4 hours before your slot. Cancelling follows the refund policy.
Reschedules
Call or email up to 4 hours before your session and we move it free, once. Second reschedule is free if we still have a matching slot; otherwise a $20 admin fee applies.
Cancellations and refunds
Full details on the refund policy page. Short version: 48+ hours notice = full refund, under 48 hours = credit, no-show = no refund.
Weather and venue issues
If we can't run your session — power out, flooded basement, anything on our side — you pick: full refund or priority rebooking.
