The experience

Sixty minutes of chaos, then cake without the cleanup

The format that works: game first, party after. The birthday crew plays a room (family room for kids' parties, whatever fits for adults), then takes over our decorated party space for food, cake and the debrief-arguing that every group does anyway.

We've hosted 400+ birthdays — turning-10 crews, 30ths that wanted something besides a bar tab, one 75th where grandma escaped faster than everyone. BYO food, drinks, decorations; we handle tables, cleanup and the certificate ceremony.

  • Private room hire for the party bit — fridge, tables, speaker for your playlist.
  • Birthday person plays free in groups of 8+, plus the 'chief escaper' certificate.
  • Adult parties too — rooms + drinks package at a partner venue next door.

How it works

Your session, step by step

A Cazinnie birthday runs about 2 hours. Here's the shape of a typical party.

Step 01

Pick a date and theme

Kids pick the family room; teens and adults pick their poison. Tell us the vibe when you book.

Step 02

Send the invites

We send you a printable/digital invite template — looks like a classified mission file.

Step 03

Arrive, hand over the cake

We fridge it, set up the party room, and get the crew briefed. Parents can watch on the game-master screen.

Step 04

60 minutes of game

The game. Kids' parties get the tuned-difficulty version so everyone finishes feeling brilliant.

Step 05

Party room takeover

Cake, food, presents, arguing about who actually solved the last lock.

Step 06

Certificate and out

Chief escaper ceremony, group photo, and we clean up. You take the kids home on a sugar high.

Every room at Cazinnie is a different world. Most groups come back within a month — the second room is where the rivalry starts.

Party hosts who've seen it all

Birthday sessions are hosted by Priya and the crew — the same people who run the family room daily. They've handled cake emergencies, a piñata incident, and one kid who hid in a prop. Nothing surprises them anymore.

FAQ

Birthdays — quick answers

Something we didn't cover? Message us through the contact page — we answer fast.

9 and up is the sweet spot — old enough to drive the puzzles themselves. Younger crews work too with more adult involvement; we've also done plenty of 21sts and 40ths.

Yes — that's the standard setup. Fridge for the cake, tables in the party room, speaker for your playlist. If you'd rather not lift a finger, our full package arranges catering through a venue next door.

Plan 2 hours: 15 briefing, 60 game, 45ish in the party room. Runs to schedule better than most kids' parties because the game has a hard stop.

Your call. Parents can play (best option, honestly), watch on the game-master monitor, or take a coffee break — kids 8+ are fully supervised inside by our staff either way.
