What we collect
When you book a session we ask for a name, an email address and a phone number. That's the whole list. Payment for online bookings is processed by our payment provider — we never see or store your card number.
During the game, game masters watch the rooms on live camera feeds for safety and to give hints. The feeds are not recorded. Waiver forms (signed on arrival) are kept as paper for 12 months, then destroyed.
Why we collect it
To run your booking: confirm the slot, contact you if something changes, and reach you in an emergency during the session. If you tick the newsletter box, we email you occasionally — every email has an unsubscribe link that works.
Who we share it with
Nobody, for marketing. Operationally we use a booking platform and a payment processor, both bound by their own privacy obligations. We don't sell, rent or trade personal information.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email cazinnieroom@gmail.com with 'Privacy request' in the subject — we respond within 30 days.
Where your data lives
Booking records sit on Australian servers inside our booking platform. Paper waivers are locked in the office on Adelaide St. Neither leaves the country.
Security
Access to booking data is limited to staff who need it to run your session. The booking system is password-protected with two-factor login, and paper records are stored in a locked cabinet.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we update this page before the change happens and bump the date at the top. Big changes get an email to recent bookers.
Complaints
Think we've mishandled your information? Talk to us first — it usually fixes it. If you're still unhappy, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
